Hi, My name is Charles, and I am the owner and sole operator of MIDGARDENER.COM - Hedge Knight LLC, a Putnam County based lawn & garden maintenance and design company.

I am proud to offer my services in order to fulfill your desire for a neat, inviting, and comfortable yard and garden that is a wellspring of enjoyment and calm instead of a source of labor and stress.

Our homes are our comfort zones. It is where we recharge, relax, and share precious time with our families, pets, and friends.

For decades I have had the good fortune to fine tune my own home and gardens while working in several careers including horticulture and landscape maintenance, and maintaining and developing outdoor spaces for clients from the deserts of the Southwest to the lush gardens of the Midwest and Northeast.

My interest and knowledge of ecological gardening, wild gardens, pollinator friendly native plants, and the principles of permaculture, as well as the natural and undeveloped lands around us have given me a passion for learning about, maintaining, and implementing balanced and sustainable lawn and garden maintenance practices and garden design and installation skills. I want to share what I have learned and practiced for all these years with you!
